2nd Annual Maine High School Female Athlete Leadership Conference

This state-wide female athlete summit is for high school girls and coaches and focused on empowermentleadershipmental health, and professional development.

  • The conference will run 9:00 – 2:00
  • Lunch is included in the Saint Joseph’s Dining Hall
  • There will be a professional development session for coaches

NEW THIS YEAR!

All participants will gain access to our new online program, The Foundations. This program is a 10-module mini course to support high school athletes, coaches, teams, and schools integrate mental skills into their programs. Included in The Foundations is a Locker Room with videos from college and pro athletes, free access to Voice in Sport mentoring and sessions for coaches/teams, a coaches community, and more!

Registration is open for a group of 8 (2 coaches and 6 athletes). The conference is open to coaches of female sports (male or female coaches!)

Scholarship: Thanks to the Charter Oak Foundation, we can now offer some scholarships! If you are a school that would like to send athletes and coaches but would not be able to afford it, you can select scholarship requested when you register. We have limited scholarship spots available so please first check with school budgets within athletics/professional development/SEL/mental health/etc.

Maine native, three-sport HS all-state athlete from York, University of Vermont college basketball player, New England Basketball Hall of Famer, educator, and current mental performance coach.

Brooklyn Raney – One Trusted Adult & Generation Change

Former D1 hockey player at Colgate University. Author, speaker, and facilitator. Founder of Generation Change, Girls’ Leadership Camp and One Trusted Adult. Brooklyn will lead both full group activities and Coach Training and breakout room!

 

Sophia Slovenski, Leadership Keynote 

Sophia was both a Bowdoin and USM track and field athlete. She was 2023 Top 6 NCAA Women of the Year and served for two years as an Americorp VISTA. Sophia is thrilled to discuss her pathway to leadership, service, & more with our 2024 FALC group!
