National Girls & Women in Sports Day – Multi-Sports Clinic, University of Maine Women’s Basketball
You’re invited to join the University of Maine athletic department in celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day, presented by Bangor Savings Bank, when the women’s basketball team hosts Binghamton on Saturday, Feb. 22.

Prior to the game against Binghamton, the Black Bears will host an Interactive Sports Fair in the New Balance Field House at 11 a.m. Representatives from UMaine’s varsity programs, along with additional UMaine Club Team representatives, will be on hand to offer youth the opportunity to participate in several drills from a variety of different sports and competitive events.
In addition, the Strong Girls United Foundation will be on hand at the sports fair. Strong Girls United is a foundation whose mission is to empower girls to be strong, confident, and resilient through sport and physical activity alongside mental health and well-being activities.
All youth who RSVP for the Interactive Sports Fair are eligible for complimentary tickets to attend the UMaine women’s basketball game vs. Binghamton and will receive a complimentary giveaway item. A ticket will grant access to the Interactive Sports Fair and the UMaine women’s basketball game against the Bearcats. Parents and guardians are eligible for a special, group ticket rate of $6 to attend the fair and the game. All tickets may be picked up or purchased at the will call table in the lobby of Memorial Gym on game day.
