Pine State Classic

– Top 3 Open and 1st Place Novice competitors will be invited to compete at USS Nationals 2025!

– Top 3 Open will receive custom Pine State Classic medals and 1st place will receive a gift card from Cerberus Strength!

This event will be held at the Union Fairgrounds in Union, Maine, and includes a strongman competition under the covered arena (with bleachers for spectators) as well as a vendor fair and food trucks set up outside the arena. There will be NO SPECTATOR FEES so bring all your family and friends!

100% of the proceeds will benefit Camp Sunshine in Casco, Maine – a retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses to attend free of charge with their families. They can’t keep this wonderful organization going without support from the community.

Competition shirts will come with your last name on the back. Additional shirts may be purchased, with no cap on how many you may get, as long as you put your order in by 9/13/24.

LOG C&P – Start with hands on the implement. Clean & Press Away. Elbows must be locked with head through for the down command. 60 seconds.

CAR DEADLIFT – Vehicle(s) TBD – Side grip. Start with hands on the implement and braced. Knees locked and hips through for the down command. 60 seconds.

SANDBAG THROW MEDLEY – Start with both feet behind the line. Run and pick up the lightest sandbag. Get as close to the bar as you’d like before you throw it over. Then run back and grab the next bag in line. Repeat until all four bags are thrown over the bar. Bags will all be lined up about 15 feet from the start line. Height of the bar will be 12-14 feet. 60 seconds.

FARMERS – 75 feet. 2 drops allowed. Start with hands on the implement and braced. Front of handles across the line. 60 seconds.

STONES – Start with hands on the implement and braced. Load each stone over the 48-inch high bar. 60 seconds.
