Tri For A Cure

Each year, over 1,300 women gather in South Portland to swim, bike & run in Maine Cancer Foundation’s Tri for a Cure – Maine’s largest fundraising triathlon. Thanks to the efforts of thousands of supporters, the Tri for a Cure has raised almost $22 million for Maine Cancer Foundation, every dollar of which has been reinvested into Maine communities for cancer prevention, early detection, and access to care. Cancer tries, but we TRI harder!

MAY 1, 2024: COMMITMENT/DROP-OUT DEADLINE

If you withdraw after this date, you will still be required to fulfill the $500 fundraising requirement. After this date you are no longer allowed to switch your registration to/from the virtual or live event.

JULY 13, 2024: EXPO DAY

10:00am – 2:00pm at SMCC

JULY 14, 2024: RACE DAY!

Opening Ceremony is at 7:00AM and the race begins at 7:30AM

REMINDERS:

• Each individual registration requires a $75 non-refundable fee. Note that this $75 does not apply towards the $500 fundraising minimum.
• Participants who drop out before May 1 are not required to meet the $500 fundraising minimum and will not be charged.
• Each participant in the 2023 Tri for a Cure is required to commit to a $500 fundraising minimum. This applies to both virtual and live participants. Any participant who does not meet the fundraising minimum will be automatically charged the remaining balance on or after midnight, 7/11/24. Participants will NOT be given race packets unless $500 minimum has been met in full.
