Welcome to Camden Snow Bowl, a magnificent 4-season recreational area for all ages!

In winter months, ski, ride, take a lesson or race at Midcoast Maine’s beloved ski mountain. We are proud of our expanded beginner area and programs with conveyor lift, expanded Ski and Ride School, racing program, 15 Alpine trails and 3 glades, a terrain park, Nordic and snowshoe trails, a new triple chair lift, snowmaking, night skiing, skating, a toboggan chute, special events including the Toboggan Nationals, and absolutely spectacular views of Penobscot Bay and the surrounding hills. During non-winter months, we have a multi-use field, tennis courts, swimming, a boat launch, hiking, and fall foliage chair lift rides.

Colby’s facilities take advantage of campus parking, providing up to 1,000 spaces.

Boasting one of the largest tennis facilities in the state at the 10-court Alfond-Wales Tennis Courts, Colby also houses one of the finest squash facilities in the country at the Dunaway Squash Courts.

Another special feature at Colby is the Colby-Hume crew center, one of few professional facilities for the sport in the state of Maine.

The Colby Soccer Fields has 2-4 turf fields for soccer, ultimate Frisbee, and field hockey.

Wadsworth Gymnasium seats 2,600 for basketball, volleyball, and cheering competition.

Additional turf fields are located at Seaverns Field at Harold Alfond Stadium. For ice events, the Harold Alfond Athletic Center can seat 1,700 spectators.

Swimming events take place at the 10-lane, 25-yard pool, that can be used as a 12-lane pool as necessary. This state of the art Olympic-size facility was the host to USA Artistic Swimming USA Masters Nationals in October, 2022.

The Campbell & Colby Cross Country Trails feature 8.5 miles of racing trails. Indoor running facilities are housed at the Harold Alfond Athletic Center Field House.

Colby Softball plays at the Crafts Field and baseball at Coombs Field.

William B. Troubh Ice Arena (formerly Portland Ice Arena)

William B. Troubh Ice Arena is an NHL-size arena with four locker rooms. Seating capacity for 750 people with a standing room capacity of 1,000 people. Free parking. During the skating year, an estimated 200,000 people use this facility as either active participants or spectators. The Arena contains four locker rooms, skate sharpening services, skate rentals, and a vending/concession area. The skating season extends from July through April. William B. Troubh Ice Arena is a municipal rink owned by the City of Portland and offers year-round skating.
